December at Sutter Creek Gallery: Gallery Artists Show

Having trouble coming up with the perfect gift for family and friends?  Come into Sutter Creek Gallery and browse one-of-a-kind art gifts at affordable prices. For December, the gallery’s artists have been creating art pieces under $50, and many will be well below that price. Paintings large and small in acrylics, watercolors, pastels, encaustics and oils.  Collages and mixed media pieces from teeny-tiny to sizable.  Photographs, fabric wall hangings, hand painted glassware, ceramics, gourds, sculptures, and so much more.

We’ve just lost our lease and have to vacate by early February. While we are looking for a new location, December and January will be the last months to see our recently refurbished gallery. And the perfect opportunity to pick up a memorable piece of art for those special people in your life as well as for yourself.

Our first Saturday reception will be held on December 7, starting at 2 p.m.  However, the selection of gifts will be available from December 1. Shop early and then return on the 7th to meet some of the artists and enjoy refreshments.

The cooperative, located in the heart of Sutter Creek at 35 Main Street, is open daily, except Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., our winter hours.  For additional information, call 209-267-0228, email suttercreekgallery@gmail.com or visit www.suttercreekgallery.com.

December at Gallery 10: "Artful Treasures"

December at Gallery 10, 15 Eureka St., Sutter Creek, will celebrate the season with “Artful Treasures,” a show of small works at reasonable prices, perfect for holiday giving!

Member and Consignment Artists will participate by creating fresh new pieces, priced below $150, many pieces even lower.

There is nothing more thoughtful than a personal gift handmade by a local artist, a one-of-a-kind piece: a small painting, a delicate piece of jewelry, handcrafted pottery or ceramics.  And, delightful too, is a gift one finds for oneself, beautifully made, at the holidays.

Be sure to stop by and see the offerings available during the month of December at Gallery 10.  A reception will be held for the artists on Saturday, December 7, 2-5 P.M. in conjunction with the Holiday Open House in Sutter Creek.  Everyone is welcome to sip wine, have a bite to eat and celebrate the holiday season!

Gallery 10 is one block off Main Street in Sutter Creek, along picturesque Eureka Street, across from a centrally located parking lot. We are open every day during the holidays, 11-5. Come visit!  Do your holiday shopping with us!
