Sue Smith was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She benefited from art instruction in school, drew from an early age and has always considered herself an artist. Sue majored in art at Ohio Wesleyan and has pursued it in one form or another all her life. She worked for many years as a draftsman, drawing house plans. Since she retired, Sue has been painting and drawing full time. Sue loves the foothill scenery and the critters, and she finds endless inspiration here.
Sue shows her work at Gallery 10, 15 Eureka Street, Sutter Creek, and will be the featured artist during the month of August.
