Gallery 10 will showcase paintings from all our artists that feature landscapes of Northern California during the month of February. “Landscape Extravaganza” will feature pastels, acrylics, oil paintings, multi-media paintings, and watercolors by the talented, hard-working local artists associated with Gallery 10, who are dedicated to expressing the beauty of our area.
Julie Trail will show landscapes in watercolor. Marleen Olive has a collection of landscapes in various media. Bruce Hancock’s oil paintings and his gouache studies of the foothills are familiar scenes many of us see every day in our travels throughout Amador County. Steve Holler uses acrylic paint to express his love of the rivers and forests surrounding us. Patricia Prendergast uses pastels to express the atmospheric quality of light we so often see in the California landscape. Our other artists may also contribute to this show, so there may be surprises in store.
A reception will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2-4 P.M. at Gallery 10, 15 Eureka St., Sutter Creek. All are welcome! Come by to see the beautiful paintings being displayed by our many wonderful local artists. The show will hang all of February. Our winter hours are Thursday-Monday, 11-4.
