Gallery 10 offers the community a wonderful collection of landscapes from our many skilled artists in a variety of media. Bruce Hancock paints almost exclusively in oil and has developed his talent for fine painting after retiring from a successful career as an architectural engineer. His landscapes of the foothills and delta are highly sought after by collectors.
Steve Holler has been painting landscapes using acrylic paint since he retired as a teacher of graphic arts at the California Art Institute, Sacramento. His paintings are vivid with deep rich colors.
Patricia Prendergast uses pastel to express her love of the local landscape in our Northern California neighborhood.
Julie Trail and Marleen Olive love to paint the landscape in watercolor. Julie’s watercolors of the mountains and foothills surrounding Sutter Creek are an expression of her love of the outdoors. Marleen enjoys adding collage to her watercolor expressions of landscape.
Wendy Rogers also uses watercolor to express her love of landscape. Vineyards and forests, foothills and river passages all draw the viewer into the beauty that surrounds us.
Brent Parsons shares his landscapes done in etchings, wonderfully skillful representations of our local area.
Other artists also create landscapes from time to time, so stop by Gallery 10 and see the offerings for this March show of
the skill and inspiration exhibited by our local artists.
Visit Gallery 10 during the reception to be held on
